Caravan, Motorhome & Marine
When you first power on your alarm system, select the alarm mode Marine and our system will automatically configure itself ensuring optimal performance and security for your application.
Jamming Detection
The PlatinumX is the only RV security product on the market that is equipped with this highly advanced feature. It runs silently in the background and ensures that your system cannot be electronically disabled by a third party.
Multiple Sensors
The PlatinumX comes equipped with an internal movement sensor and a door sensor as standard straight out of the box plus a dedicated ‘Panic’ switch. These standard inclusions ensure comprehensive security for your Boat.
Flash Lights and Alarm Siren
The system is designed to flash your boats lights, capturing attention and signalling a security breach. Additionally, the high-output waterproof siren emits a piercing sound, effectively deterring potential intruders and alerting those nearby.

Added protection with optional output that can be utilised as an Engine Start Immobiliser
Boat GPS
The RVsecure GPS / Communications hub is fully compatible with the PlatinumX and the RVsecure online tracking and SMS alarm alert system and you can set to either drift on or drift off for mooring or dry dock. Alternatively you can choose the GPS LOD for features like phone call notifications, remote arm/disarm of your alarm or a live 300m SmartFence Geo.
Specialty Marine Sensors
The PlatinumX has several options for marine sensors that add both safety and security to your boat.
Shore Power – be notified if your shore power is disconnected
Water Sensor – creates an alarm if water is detected. Ideal use is as a bilge pump fail sensor. Will notify armed or disarmed for the ultimate safety.
IR Beam – for the deck of the boat, will activate if someone steps aboard and trips the beam

Some of the marine accessories available for your PlatinumX
Shore Power
The shore power sensor monitors the input 240v power to the boat and sends an alarm signal when the power fails. This is ideal for boats using shore power to maintain their electrical systems and accessories (such as on board fridges) as the loss of power can be costly.
Water Sensor
The water sensor is typically installed in the hull and sends an alarm signal to the alarm when the terminals register water. It is used to alert of a bilge pump failure.
IR Beam
The IR Beam sensor is designed for the rear deck of the boat and provides an alarm when the beam is interrupted.
