Setting up your LOD GPS
Setting up your LOD GPS is as easy as inserting your SIM* and sending three SMS Commands to the unit.
*Make sure that your SIM is fully activated before inserting. It is advisable to test it out on a phone and make sure it can make calls, sens SMS and gain access to the internet.

FAQ
Q: How do I check the location?
A: Please refer to the quick start guide that came with the GPS.
Q: Do you have a tracking map that we can see the live tracking of the vehicle?
A: No, this system is designed as location on demand (plus other features) and not as a standard subscription tracking service. For subscription tracking please see our full service GPS.
Q: I had an instance where my GPS system didn't respond to a command
A: There can be two main causes for this.
1/ Dropout - Please check with your SIM provider regarding service and 4G dropout areas
2/ Overload - it is possible to send too many commands in a short space of time (before the system has completed the last task) and overload the modem, wait until and action has been completed before sending the next request.
Q: Do I need to download an App?
A: No, our LOD GPS operates without the need for an App.
Q. My smartfence is not calling me, how do I get it to call?
A. Please see section 1.2 of the GPS manual.
Q. I have armed my alarm by SMS, how do I check that it is armed?
A. Please see section 2.3 of the GPS manual.
Q. When I request the location, all I get is 0's
A. There are two main reasons that this could be.
1/ your APN is not set correctly. Please check your SIM providers APN and then set as per the quick start guide that came with your GPS.
2/ your GPS is upside down or being blocked. The barcode should be up to enable best satellite reception. If the GPS is in a high metal environment then the signals can be blocked. Take the GPS to where it is clear.
